ProReServ intelligent logistics has been developed over many years of expertise in the retail market. It is our specialist tool, with which we achieve – which we can prove – cost savings in the supply chain and in so doing provide our business partners with an important competitive advantage.
Our specialism in logistics means we can react quickly and with great flexibility to meet market developments. We believe planning, operational and administrative processes are inseparable. From the procurement of goods to final presentation on our retail customers’ sales floors, the intelligent IT of our logistics centre performs all of the tasks required for the real-time optimisation of your individual business processes.
The services provided in the ProReServ logistics centre in Gelsenkirchen cover all of the processes from goods in to delivery to the point of sale (PoS), including such essential tasks such as storage, order picking and despatch. Currently 50 people (and in peak periods up to 80 people) are employed in our logistics centre in order to help achieve the sales targets throughout Europe.
The inventory is managed using the IT warehouse management system ProLag World which is linked via a digital interface with the ERP system in the SAP head office in Neu-Isenburg. In an area of 13,000 m² and with 10,000 pallet spaces, we currently manage a product range of over 4,000 products.
